Wildcat IT was founded by Kadhim Al Rubaye — a senior IT leader with over two decades of hands-on experience across enterprise infrastructure, endpoint management, cybersecurity, and small business consulting. We combine that depth of expertise with modern tools to deliver IT support that's built for companies with 5–20 employees.
Kadhim brings over 20 years of IT operations experience across multiple industries and every level of the technology stack — from hands-on device repair and network engineering to leading enterprise infrastructure teams and managing secure data operations.
He holds a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Applications with a focus on cryptography and security. Over his career, he's managed IT departments, led technical teams, built SLA-driven service operations, and run multiple technology businesses — including an IT asset management company specializing in NIST-aligned data destruction for regulated industries, and a refurbished hardware operation serving enterprise and consumer clients.
Wildcat IT is the product of everything he's learned building and running those businesses. The goal is simple: give small businesses in the Portsmouth area the kind of reliable, professional IT support that used to be reserved for companies ten times their size — at a price that makes sense.
Before Wildcat IT, Kadhim built and operated multiple technology companies — each one sharpening the skills and systems that now power this business.
Built and ran an end-of-life IT asset management company specializing in NIST-aligned secure data destruction. Served enterprise and regulated clients including financial institutions, with full chain-of-custody documentation and compliance reporting.
Built a refurbished enterprise and Apple hardware business, sourcing end-of-lease equipment and providing quality devices to businesses and consumers at significantly below retail pricing.
Founded an IT consulting practice serving small businesses across the NH Seacoast — providing network setup, backup implementation, data recovery, remote support, and endpoint deployment. Later managed all technical operations for a retail technology business, growing B2B revenue 15%.
